What’s Included in the Price

The following information pertains only to headstone memorials, full kerbsets, and cremation memorials (excluding Vases): The indicated price covers 150 characters rendered in 23.5 carat gold leaf or enamel letters, installation within the cemetery.

Charges for letters beyond the initial 150 included in the memorial cost are as follows:

Lettering on Granite

• Carved & Gilded – £2.15 per letter – using 23.5 carat gold leaf
• Carved & Silver/Black/White/Other – £2.05 per letter – using enamel
• Maintenance-Free – £2.05 per letter – flush with the surface (easy to clean, no dust accumulation)
• Carved-only (deeper cut) – £1.50 per letter – no gold leaf or colored enamel, but still visible when wet

Lettering on White Marble, Nabresina, Portland, and Dove Grey

• Carved & Gilded – £2.15 per letter – using 23.5 carat gold leaf
• Carved & Silver/Black/White/Other – £2.05 per letter – using enamel
• Carved & Lead (flush) – £2.50 per letter (if selecting lead, an additional £31.50 will be added to the basic memorial price)
• Carved-only (deeper cut) – £1.50 per letter – no gold leaf or colored enamel

Full stops and commas are not counted.

Additional charges apply for hand-carved letters and raised lead letters.

Please note that any photo plaques, chippings, or statues shown in images are not included in the displayed price.

If the cemetery or churchyard is situated outside of one of two radius lines from our Oxfordshire factory, an area charge may apply and will be included in your quote. Despite this area charge, our prices remain competitive, as evidenced by our continued requests for memorials across the UK from our base in Didcot, Oxfordshire.
